- Course objectives
- The objective of the course is to make students experience the first analytical contact with short works of German fiction. In the pre-class phase, short (up to 30 pages long) stories are read and processed individually, in class then, they are discussed in public.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students should be able to - deal with fiction in analytical way - get to understand the works read in the seminar as prototypical examples of their period of origin, or their genre, etc.
- Syllabus
- Each semester, about 6 short works of fiction are read and discussed, connected by a common topic or genre.
