- Course objectives
- The goal of course is to deepen the knowledge of practical language at the phonetic, lexical and grammatical aspects; to mediate and to practice vocabulary thematically corresponding to the topics of the practical language exercises 3; to develop communication skills in written and verbal.
At the end of course student is able to converse on discussed topics; to use properly intonation construction, phraseology units; student will also improve his written and oral skills. - Syllabus

- 1. Holiday and vacation. How I spent my summer holiday.
- 2. Tourism. Travel agents and their offerings.
- 3. Free time. How does the youth of today spend their free time?
- 4. My hobbies. Comparison of Russian and Czech life.
- 5. Sport. Sports education of children.
- 6. Active lifestyle.
- 7. Fashion today. Fashion and me.
- 8. Fashion magazines in Russia and the Czech Republic.
- 9. Ecology and the environment. Environmental protection.
- 10. Ecological disaster. How can we prevent it?

- Seminar. Regular preparing for the seminar and doing of required homework. Listening and reading of Russian texts. Discussions and presentations within the discussed topics.
