Course objectives
Students are to promote their communicative abilities by the means of dialogues, discussions and conversational topics. They should improve their verbal abilities in terms of grammar, pronounciation and vocabulary. Students should also improve their listening and reading working with contemporary magazines, newspapers etc.
Syllabus
  • Into the contentual part of the subject have been inserted these basic conversational topics: 1. Business relations, managerial dealing, contracts. 2. Banks and banking. Political system. 3. Ecology. 4. Russian newspapers and journals. Actual journalism. Into the part of realities of the subject have been included the topics connected with practical conversation: Actual Russia, administrative and political system. Russian flag, national emblem and hymn. New Russians and everyday life. Russian metropolis. Russia geography.

Teaching methods
Students work up homework and within an individual work and essays during the study. Students work individually and they also cooperate in group projects. They continuously read Russian texts. Discussion, presentation.

Oral exam. Credit course, active participation, homeworks.
