- Course objectives
- Having completed the course, a student will be able to incorporate the issue of political trials and political persecution in Czechoslovakia into a broader context of contemporary Czechoslovakian history.
- Learning outcomes
- Having completed the course, a student will be able to:
- identify the causes of political trials in Czechoslovakia after 1945;
- spot and describe the aims of politicla trials;
- identify the actors and describe their role in the making of show trials;
- describe and demonstrate the methods used by the actors for maintainimg their aims;
- propose suitable didactic methods for using the issue of political trials in teaching history at primary or secondary school; - Syllabus
