Course objectives
The course builds on the Morphology 1 (Semester Autumn), and the Morphology 2(Semester Spring). The aim is to practice and consolidate the grammar problem (often the system imbalance), particularly in the categories of speech that do not exist in Czech. At the end of this course, students should be able to understand the grammar problem.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the students are able to: analyze the language of the initial language, define the differences between the French and the Czech language with respect to the problems discussed, apply the acquired knowledge in the translation from the default language to the target language and vice versa.
Syllabus
  • 1. The Determinants (All pronouns and Articles). 2. Adjective formation of feminine gender, off plural, comparison, position, equality (the adjective possessive, relational ...). 3. Verb. Verb forms and temps verbal. 4. Presence present and past, their function in the sentence. 5. Usage and past time functions.
