- The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- there are 9 fields of study the course is directly associated with, display
- Course objectives
- It is a propedeutic subject that aims to unify the level of selected knowledge and skills of students in the field of science and social sciences, to present students with an interdisciplinary view of nature and society and to learn teaching examples based on a constructivist approach.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- on the basis of the correct idea of the Solar System and the Earth as a cosmic body to characterize the individual objects of the Solar System and to describe the movements of these bodies
- deduce properties of bodies and expertly use the units, gauges when examining selected quantities (length, volume, weight, strength, temperature and time)
- to describe the internal structure of the Earth, to characterize the individual spheres of the Earth, to locate any place on Earth using the geographical network
- to characterize selected minerals, rocks and soils, based on the investigation of the properties of these inanimate natural products, it is safe to know how to classify the rocks according to their origin
- describing and using simple experiments to prove the composition and properties of selected substances, with an emphasis on the properties of water and air
- to distinguish and, by means of simple experiments, prove the reversible and irreversible changes of substances, to describe and, by means of simple experiments, to model the circulation of water on Earth
These topics should be able to explain to the pupils of the first degree from an integrated interdisciplinary point of view. - Syllabus
