- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquire basic language skills and knowledge of language resources that can communicate with students in this foreign language. It is also important to create a positive attitude towards the culture of peoples, speaking foreign language, in this case German, speaking as the mother tongue. The achievement of this objective contributes to the inclusion of conversational topics on the realities of German-speaking countries. It examines vocabulary and lexical structures on themes: Present, hobbies and leisure time, work and vocation, family. The communicative way of repeating and deepening the grammatical phenomena within the mentioned topics is conjunctive II, the secondary theoretical, modal and reversible verbs. Emphasis is placed on the application of language skills in skills.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students should be able to: -to understand sentences and frequently used expressions related to areas of most immediate relevance (e.g. very basic personal and family information, shopping, local geography, employment); -to communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring a simple and direct exchange of information on familiar and routine matters; -describe in simple terms aspects of their background, immediate environment and matters in areas of immediate need;
- Syllabus
- Listening: Gather the main and detailed information when listening to the conversation, collecting as well as rhythm, tact and melody of the text in a tight and understandable way. Understanding the conversation of people and making notes about the information you have gained. (1st - 3rd week) 2. Speaking speech: Oral summary of the interview, expressing opinion and conducting discussions on work and leisure, courtesy and response to it. Commentary on the graph and its comparison with the text, a description of a fictitious person and a conversation about private issues. (4-6 weeks) 3. Selective Readings: Review of Different Opinions, Understanding mainly ironic text. Reconstruction of the text by assigning questions, speculation about the target group, searching for the main information in the text. (7th - 9th week) 4. Psaní: the proper use of forms of polite plea, compilation of notes on the basis of knowledge of facts. Present in informal letter and formulating queries, stylization of letters. (10th-12th week)
