- Course objectives
- The aim is to provide a theoretical overview of the genres and history of German children´s and juvenile literature, in order that the students will be able to apply the knowledge when working with a literary text at school.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course, students will be able to work with a complex theoretical overview of the genres and history of German children´s and juvenile literature; they will be able to apply the knowledge when working with a literary text at school; they will be able to analyse contemporary German children´s and juvenile literature.

- Understanding German children´s and juvenile literature, genres of children´s literature, genres of juvenile literature, children´s lyrical poetry, history of children´s literature.
