- Course objectives
- The main emphasis of the course is placed on systematizing and expanding knowledge of the Russian syntax and apply this knowledge in practical language. The grammatical parallels and the differences between Russian and Czech are also considered.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to understand and explain important differences between the Russian and Czech syntax; creatively apply the knowledge; improve speaking and writing in Russian language.
- Syllabus
- Negative sentence. Subject Accusative and Genitive. Changing grammatical forms of nouns.
- Negative sentence. Spelling particle "не" and "ни" with nouns, adjectives and verbs.
- Construction with negative and indefinite pronouns. Spelling negative and indefinite pronouns.
- Existential sentences. The construction with the verb "есть", with unexpressed predicate.
- Expressing semantic subject by indirect cases. Differences between Russian and Czech languages.
