- Course objectives
- The goal of this course, students should be able to:
manage the knowledge about the principles of the structure of living matter and composition and organization of cells
understand the classification of the basic groups of biomolecules (Amino Acids and Proteins, Carbohydrates, Nucleic Acids, Lipids and Membranes)
find ones bearing in the basic metabolic pathways
be acquainted with the mutual biochemical relationships in metabolism and Regulation Principles
know how to explain the principles of energetics of biochemical reactions, metabolic fate of biomolecules, metabolism of amino acids and proteins, metabolism of nucleic acids and proteosynthesis, metabolism of saccharides and lipids, bioenergetic metabolism, membrane transport and special biosynthetic pathways
apply the acquired knowledges as a principles of the healthy lifestyle - Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, students should be able to:
