- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to enable direct contact with inanimate natural phenomena and natural (selected minerals, rocks and soil species) both in the classroom environment and in extracurricular educational institutions.
- Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to: - to be oriented in out-of-school science-based educational institutions - Describe selected natural phenomena - Determine selected minerals and rocks - Perform simple tests proving the properties of minerals

- Unit 1: Excursion to Brno Observatory and Planetarium Brno Unit 2: excursion to VIDA! science centers Unit 3: exploring minerals, using minerals in everyday life Unit 4: exploration of rocks, work with a geological map
