Course objectives
The aim of the course is to bring up topics that support the practical basis of how to work with phenomena around us, when observing the world as social educators.
Learning outcomes
- to learn the topics of social pedagogy - to understand the relationship between social pedagogy and social reality - to realize the uniqueness of the role of the social pedagogue
Syllabus
  • 1) Social Education as a discipline (Basic view; social aspects of education; etc.) 2) Social Education and the changes in epistemology of education discipline (Philosophical Inspiration for Research in the Field of Social Education) 3) Social Education and modern methods of qualitative research (Discourse analysis and Visual research) 4) Social Education and personal development (Effective team communication) 5) Social Education and psychology. Social pedagogy and research in this field exceed the dimensions defined by educational institutions. They are also projected into school- and non-school-related issues and into broader cultural-social contexts (environments) both within and without social groups and society as a whole.
