- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to get acquainted with problems of impaired communication skills and hearing impairment in school age, with possibilities of logopedic intervention and forms of support in the educational process.
- Learning outcomes
- After completing the subject, the student will focus on problems of communication difficulties in school age, approaches to logopedic intervention in pupils in school age. He will be acquainted with the activity of school counseling facilities and will make clear the possibilities of choosing and applying support measures in the educational process - taking into account the special educational needs of the pupils. They will be acquainted with the specifics of working with lawyers, teachers and other professionals.

- Communication ability of pupil of school age - characteristics of speech development.
- A pupil with impaired communication ability in the educational process - a characteristic of special educational needs.
- Developmental Dysphasia - Etiology, Symptomatology, Speech of Speech Logopedic Intervention in School Age; support in the education process.
- Dyslalia - etiology, symptomatology, specifics of speech therapy intervention in school age; support in the education process.
- Dysarthria - etiology, symptomatology, specificities of speech-based intervention in school age; support in the education process.
- Mutism - etiology, symptomatology, specifics of speech-based speech therapy; support in the education process.
- Disruption of speech sound - etiology, symptomatology, specifics of speech-based speech therapy; support in the education process.
- Forms of disturbed communication abilities - etiology, symptomatology, specifics of speech-based intervention in school age; support in the education process.
- Pupils with hearing impairment - pupils will hear, deaf and pupils with CI.
