- Course objectives
- Technical education focuses on technology as a component of human culture. The content of the subject is a look at the history of technical and technical education, the relation of technique to other activities, a preview of the personality of a teacher in the field of technical and informational education. Emphasis is placed on familiarizing with the history of technique through specialized literature. An excursion to the Technical Museum is planned within the subject. Technical centers of youth are mentioned as centers of technical education, ICT and didactic teaching aids as a means of developing technical education.
Understanding the history of technology provides a comprehensive understanding of an important element of human society. Technique and technical education is an important component of the education of a technical and informative teacher at elementary schools. - Learning outcomes
- Student will be able to:
- identify and summarize the technique as a component of human culture;
- describe the brief history of technology and technical education, the relationship of technology to other activities;
- design an excursion to the Technical Museum;
- analyze and use ICT and didactic teaching aids as a means to develop technical education; - Syllabus

- 3. Technology and its relation to other areas of human activity - culture, philosophy, psychology, politics, economics, ecology, architecture, art, etc.
- 4. engineering in engineering, engineering and agriculture,
- 5. the personality of the teacher in the field of technical and information education,
- 6. technical museums in the Czech Republic and abroad and their use in pedagogical practice,
- 7.Technical Youth Centers,
- 8. ICT in Technology (Information, Information Systems, Computing and Communication Technology),

- Weeks 1 and 2: Viewing the history of technology and technical education 3rd and 4th Week: Technique as a Component of Human Culture - History of discoveries and inventions.
- 5th and 6th week: Engineering in construction, engineering and agriculture - history of discoveries and inventions.
- 7th and 8th week: Technical museums in the Czech Republic and abroad and their use in pedagogical practice.
- Week 9 and 10: Teacher personality in technical and information education, technical centers for youth.
