- Course objectives
- This course will review the background and development of teaching English to Young Learners(TEYL). The participants will analyse the YLs needs and they will suggest and examine appropriate approaches to TEYL. They will also explore, evaluate and adapt methodology and materials used for teaching YLs. They will review methods of evaluation and assessment suitable for YLs.

- Students will:
raise their awareness of basic principles of TEYL
design a series of lessons based on a topic, story or activity
present a project in English

Two week teaching sequence (with lesson plans) using one of the three approaches (topic, story,activity based or CLIL)
Presentation in the session with a 5 minute microteaching slot
