- Course objectives
- In the course the students deal with current themes related to francophone countries, which serve to improve the ability of arguments in written and oral speech of students. The selected themes should stimulate students to thinking and expressing their own opinions by a clear and structured way.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, students will be able: to comprehend articles and reports on contemporary issues in French-speaking countries; to interpret these texts in both oral and written forms.

- 1. Tourism, the most visited places in France. 2. Bread - importance of diet and our behavior in relation to bread. 3. Influence of French women on Czech fashion and culture. 4. Franco-Czech relations in different areas of the life of society. 5. France in the United States. 6. Internet dangers on young people.
