Course objectives
The subject prepares students for the complex exam in the area of English skills and systems at level B2 according to SERRJ. Students are expected to reach this level and prove this when taking the exam. This optional subject is aimed at studenst who wish to take up the state exams in Eglish and thus gain the certificate and teach English at a primary school level. It is also important to register subject IAJk11 at the same time. If the system makes this impossible, please ask for an exception when the time comes.
Learning outcomes

  • 1. pronunciation revision - level B2 according to SERRJ 2. grammar revision - level B2 according to SERRJ 3. vocabulary revision - level B2 according to SERRJ 4. listening - level B2 according to SERRJ 5. reading - level B2 according to SERRJ 6. writing - level B2 according to SERRJ 7. speaking - level B2 according to SERRJ 8. - 13. focusing on test tasks and their practice: word formation, cloze test, reading, listening, transformations and speaking

1) Two consultations. 2) Placement test - please bring your IAJk09 placement test results. 3) TPT task - essay - beginning of the semester (language analysis). 4) Language advisory and active self-study. 5) Journal (compulsory parts: notes on self-study, notes based on one-to-one consultations).
