- Course objectives
- The students improve their instrumental skills. They can play small pieces for piano, they can use accompaniment to songs, create prelude, interlude, postlude to songs.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of the course students should be able to: - play minor scales (c, d, e, f, g, a, h) and chords with turns - play the minor cadences, chromatic modulations in all keys - play the accompaniments to 25 songs (15 songs of the 2nd grade, 10 songs of the 3rd grade) - create the prelude, interlude, postlude to the songs - stylizate the accompaniment to the songs (dance songs in 2/4, 3/4 beat, slowly songs) - transpose of choosen songs (with regard to pupils´ vocal range) - play the piano composition
- Syllabus
- Playing the instrument – the piano: a) playing the minor scales (c, d, e, f, g, a, h), harmonic, melodic, 2 octaves b) playing the chords (kvintakord with turns) c) playing the minor cadences, chromatic modulations in all keys, accompaniment d) the basics of improvisation: accompaniments to 25 songs (15 songs of the 2nd grade, 10 songs of the 3rd grade) - creating the prelude, interlude, postlude to the songs - stylization of the accompaniment (dance songs in 2/4, 3/4 beat, slowly songs) - transpositions of 3 choosen songs (with regard to pupils´ vocal range) e) playing the piano composition
