Course objectives
At the end of the course students should be able to play accompaniments of songs;
to create the prelude, interlude, postlude in songs;
to use transpositions to the other keys;
to play of compositions for children and national anthem.
Learning outcomes
Student:
has adopted procedures for stylization of piano accompaniment;
is capable of transposing songs into a key corresponding to the children's voice range;
interprets a short piano piece - he is oriented in its construction;
is equipped with basic skills for playing children's songs.
Syllabus
  • Playing instrument – the piano: - accompaniments to 5 songs of the 4th grade and 20 songs of the 5th grade: A/ mixed and the general harmony;
  • B/ creating the prelude, interlude, postlude in songs, modulations, transpositions to the other keys;
  • C/ stylized accompaniment (waltz, syncopated etc.;
  • - playing of 1 composition for children - playing the Czech anthem.

Theoretical and practical training, keeping practicing playing the piano.
Assessment methods
Practical examination: A/ 100 songs (prelude, interlude, postlude, transposition);
B/ playing 4 listening compositions for children;
C/ playing the Czech anthem.
