At the end of the course students should be able to: understand and explain system of German sentence, compare it with the Czech system and apply it in the practical language.

  • 1. 1. Fundamental syntactical items 2. Types of sentences 3. Forms of sentences 4. Simple sentence 5. Syntactical structures 6. Word-order 7. The complex sentence. Coordination 8. The complex sentence. Subordination. Subject clauses. Object clauses. Adverbial clauses. Sentential relative clauses.
