- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to demonstrate and in practice the knowledge gained in lectures and seminars from partial physical-geographic disciplines. Students will be acquainted with the natural conditions of the model area, its economic use and settlement conditions. Students will understand the situation in the visited region. Their tasks will consist in the purpose assessment of the territory and mapping of examples of selected phenomena in individual natural components in the territory with respect to human activities (harmful natural processes, inappropriate use, threatened by human activities). Students will elaborate a text part of the map part and defend it in discussion.
- Learning outcomes
- Students will be acquainted with the natural conditions of the model territory, its economic use and settlement conditions. Students will thus understand the situation in the visited region. Their tasks will consist in the purposeful assessment of the territory and the mapping of examples of selected phenomena in the various nature areas in the area with regard to human activities (harmful natural processes, inappropriate use, threats to human activities). Students draw up a text part for the compiled map and defend it in the discussion.
- Syllabus
- 1) Collection of background material for terrain practice area - text, table and map material, route route design. 2) Processing of supporting materials - finding, division of topics, processing and presentation. 3) Division of tasks and territory of field practice. 4) Fieldwork. 5) Writing individual reports from field practice. 6) Creating a joint presentation and publishing it.
