- Course objectives
- The course will focus on the use of Russian-language terminology in Russian language teaching at secondary schools in the context of current trends in education. Learning outcomes of the course is to specify the terminological situation in the teaching of Russian, to define current terminological problems related to teaching in schools, to develop communicative language competencies with respect to the pupil of secondary school and the specifics of teaching at secondary schools.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course the student will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practice, extend the knowledge about the terminology system of Russian, improve in oral expression with respect to teaching in secondary school.
- Syllabus
- 1. Russian-language terminology: its origin and development.
- 2. Terminological situation in Russian studies: differentiation of terms, obsolete concepts, emergence of new terms.
- 3. Russian-language terms and their use in teaching Russian. Which concepts must the teacher adopt to ensure that his teaching is high-quality and progressive?
- 4. Use of terminology in connection with co-operation with other subjects in secondary school.
- 5. Internet and other resources providing timely information on changes in terminology, new knowledge in linguistics.
