Course objectives
Introduction to art theory semiotics, creation of an analytical text from the field of art theory semiotics
Learning outcomes
Students are familiar with semiotics and are able to distinguish specialized art theory semiotics. They can critically analyse relationships between different types of art

  • Semiotics and aesthetic education, analysis of works in the field of visual and musical art, communication of artwork with the recipient, semiotics and pedagogical practice

Analysis of selected texts, semiotic aspects of the artwork interpretation, theoretical and pragmatic level of semiotics
Assessment methods
Oral exam, 5 obligatory consultations, elaboration of a chapter using art theory semiotics (15 pages)
