This course aims at students of the English department of Faculty of Education with or without teaching practice experience.

Course objectives
Students will:
- improve their ability to observe classroom situations;
- analyze the classroom situations in the context of theoretical knowledge and practical experience;
- develop the ability to critically evaluate the classroom situation and suggest the alternative solutions;
- develop the ability to learn and improve one's teaching through observations and discussions.
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course, the students:
- know the basic principles and procedures of analysing the classroom situations;
- can analyze classroom situations drawing from theoretical knowledge and their own experience;
- can adequately critically and constructively analyze the classroom situation in relation to its aims and suggest alternative procedures;
- can critically evaluate suggested alternative procedures in relation to analyzed activity/lesson;
- in the analyzed videosequences can indentify impulses for self-reflection and self-improvement.

Regular online work in moodlinka, two face-to-face sessions (block option).
Assessment methods
Attendance at the two face-to-face sessions (compulsory). Completion of all modules in moodlinka (one module per two weeks - compulsory).
