Course objectives
To consolidate theoretical knowledge of didactics;
To understand and explain the basic principles and problems of teaching English as a foreign language;
To apply theoretical knowledge to practice.
To focus on the target group of the secondary school students
Learning outcomes
By the end of the course the students will be able: to consolidate theoretical knowledge of didactics;
to understand and explain the basic principles and problems of teaching English as a foreign language;
to apply theoretical knowledge to practice in various types of secondary schools;
to understand the specific needs of secondary school learners and their implications for foreign language teaching;
to plan and apply activities that accommodate secondary learners' needs.
