Course objectives
Annotation: The aim is consolidating, deepening and verifying of the acquired knowledges and skills in the pedagogical and psychological disciplines. The emphasis is on the logical consistency of pedagogical-psychological disciplines with the content of vocational subjects (operating trade and services, building technology, electrical engineering, engineering technology, hygiene, transport etc.), including the course training. The course is focused on acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for the operation of teachers in the educational environment of high school. For these reasons, teaching is focused on the observation and evaluation of specific educational process according to the specialization of individual students. Students perform teaching practice 1 in secondary schools under the expert guidance of a teacher.
Objectives: Knowledge: A comprehensive overview of knowledge about the topic of linking pedagogical-psychological disciplines with vocational subjects professional topics, including the subject of training. Skills: To characterize the operation of the high school. Prove to find and work with school documentation to build thematic plan and then navigate to different parts of the content and methodical preparation of teachers for teaching. Select the appropriate teaching methods and material support for specific subject content. Knowing the principles of ethical conduct teacher. Analyze the observed lessons and submit your better solutions. Attitude: To learn the value of objectivity. Deepen the values of ethical behavior and responsibility towards themselves and others. Deepen the values of a healthy lifestyle. Deepen the responsibility of careful preparation of teachers for teaching unit.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, students should know and be able to:
- Look for and orientate in the specific documents of the secondary schools needed to build a thematic plan and then to process the content and methodical preparation of the teacher for a specific subject, including vocational training.
- Analyze whether the selected teaching methods were effective, how the teacher examines the pupils' knowledge, the way they write on the board and the workbook, how the teacher maintains the discipline and activity of the pupils as the teacher responds to unforeseen situations.
Syllabus
  • The sylabus of exercises (after weeks or blocks): I. Introductory exercise - preparation of teaching practice 1 1. Preparation of teaching practice 1 - Observation of the educational process. 2. Familiarization with the operation of secondary schools. Documents secondary, FEP, SEP, thematic plan. Classbook. 3. The content and methodical preparation of teachers for teaching. 4. The material equipment for teaching specific subject matter. 5. Teaching methods for teaching a particular subject matter. 6. Safety and hygiene in connection with teaching in secondary schools. 7. The ethical behavior of teachers. Behavior and communication teacher. The clothing of the teacher. II. Performance and evaluation of teaching practice first 1. The exercise of teaching experience at the secondary school first, in time subsidy 6 lessons. Groups of students are organized for a maximum of 5 students. 2. Students have noted the observation: students' motivation to work, the organization of lessons, class climate, course content and teaching hours, evaluation of lessons from the student perspective. 3. The student on the course of practice leading daily teaching practice (portfolio) and on its basis will prepare a report - to observe the student in the performance of educational praxe1. 4. Discussion, exchange of teaching experience after the teaching practice 1.

Experience in school workshops and operations faculty at secondary technical schools;
Assessment methods
Outputs: After the completing of the course students should know and they are able to: Search and navigate to specific documents needed to build secondary thematic plan and subsequent processing of content and methodical preparation of teachers for specific technical subject, including vocational training. Analyze, whether the chosen teaching methods were effective, we examine how teacher knowledge of students way of writing on the blackboard and workbook to how the teacher maintains discipline and pupil activity as a teacher react to unforeseen situations.
Certificate of completion Teaching Practice 1.
Processing observation of the student in the performance of pedagogical practices 1. (max. 3 pages). Discussions within the colloquium.
