Course objectives
The aim of the lecture is introduction to issues of the evolution of French. It is the only comprehensive linguistic discipline throughout the Bachelor's and Master's degree, which conceives of language in diachronic terms and clearly shows and proves the system linking the individual linguistic disciplines. Students receive a comprehensive and deeper look at language as a system of partial systems. This subject links, deepens and completes linguistic knowledge, so far obtained separately only from the synchronic perspective. It is counted, therefore, with good knowledge of phonetic, phonological, morphological, syntactic and lexical acquired synchronously, and these are further enriched and developed further the knowledge and understanding of the diachronic point of view. The interpretation is maintained with regard to the current state of the language and its further evolution. Future teachers will be encouraged to be able, during their interpretation of the French language State to pupils, to explain why this is so, and to justify the many exceptions in all language plans of the current language. Due to the lack of time subsidy, the interpretation especially focuses on the stage, in which it is experienced to the most significant linguistic modifications. The subject Evolution of French language – seminar immediately follows the subject Evolution of French language -lecture, the only comprehensive linguistic discipline throughout the Bachelor's and Master's degree, which conceives of language in diachronic terms and clearly shows and proves the system linking the individual linguistic disciplines.
