- Course objectives
- The main objective of the course is to develop speaking, reading, writing and listening skills at B2 level.
At the end of the course students should be able to: discuss everyday topics, communicate in everyday situations, read and listen to authentic texts at the upper-intermediate level and communicate in the language fluently. - Learning outcomes

- The syllabus includes: speaking activities, reading comprehension, writing narratives, listening comprehension.
Interaction: Students will participate in weekly activities and complete work outside of class in the coursebook and on Moodlinka.
Gold First (units 1 - 6): revision of verb forms, word formation, verb patterns, comparing, verb forms in the narrative, perfect tenses, articles, countable and uncountable nouns, passive forms, future forms
Topics: music, family, happiness, survival, food, entertainment

- Maximum number of points per semester: 100 Pass mark: 70 (part of this sum is also the final written test, students must obtain at least 70% for this final test - if not: two resits of the final test are offered) Written test: 40 points Oral test: 30 points (no resits) Progress test: 10 points.
