- At the end of the course students will be able to:
to support the theory to describe and critically evaluate how geography is taught in real school practice;
through separate descriptive, analytical and critical-assessment, independently create goals and contents of geographical education
confront geographical education theories with the practical realization of geography teaching;
develop geographic education objectives into specific and measurable learning tasks.
Using their own teaching materials and preparations developed in the Regional Geography with Didactics 1 and 2 course, they will create another set of teaching materials anchored in different conceptions of geography teaching.
It will justify and explain with examples why and how it is necessary to approach the planning, implementation and reflection of geography teaching in primary school from different geographical perspectives.
Describe and justify the objectives, structure, learning activities and assessment using three different teaching preparations framing one geographical topic.
Using three different examples, it will indicate how a diverse and informed approach to planning, implementing and reflecting on geography teaching in lower secondary school is possible;
