Course objectives
The main aim of the course is for a student to publish his/her educational video through the departmental you tube channel. Students will learn the main technical procedures, will work on the methodological and language aspect of their video, will learn how to finalize their product and will work on being able to give a quality peer feedback.
Learning outcomes
The main educational outcomes are: 1) being able to publish an educational video; 2) being able to learn the main technical procedures needed to accomplish outcome number one; 3) being able to reflect on the methodological and language aspect of an eductaional video; 4) being able to do the finalizing technical procedures; 5) being able to give a quality peer feedback.
Syllabus
  • 1) Technical aspects of creating a video. 2) Looking for the right methodological and language sources. 3) Working on the aim of the video and the paths that lead to it. 4) Creating an educational video. 5) Self-reflection and peer feedback. 6) Teacher feedback. 7) Working on the video based on self-reflection, peer feedback and teacher feedback. 8) Finalizing the educational product, uploading the video.
