Course objectives
The aim of the course is to extend physics knowledge and skills by the topics and phenomena that can be studied in an outdoor environment. Emphasis is placed on the application of scientific research methods in conditions outside the classroom and laboratory, especially on observation, measurement, qualified estimate of values, construction of simple teaching aids. Student independently or in a team realizes selected practical tasks. The course include practical exercises with an emphasis on the relationship of the subject matter to practice, nature, technical applications etc.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course the student should know and know:  Theoretical foundations of physical phenomena, physical measurements and observations.  Field safety rules.  The student is able to perform practical measurements, process data, evaluate and evaluate individually or in a team interpret results.

  • 1. Length, time, mass, velocity (estimation and measurement) 2. Quality of surface water (turbidity, temperature, PH) 3. Orientation of the field 4. Games with GPS usage 5. The means of emergency survival in the wild 6. Atmospheric pressure and buoyancy, aerostatics, aerodynamics
