Prerequisites
The course is suitable for both beginners and advanced students who are interested in the Russian language.
Knowledge of the Russian alphabet is required.

Course objectives
The course is intended for both those interested in the Russian language and for field students.
The aim of the course is to practice and consolidate knowledge of selected linguistic phenomena of the Russian language through the interactive exercises. The content of the course therefore appropriately complements the content of compulsory subjects that are connected with the teaching of a practical language.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course students will be able to:
- successfully apply the discussed linguistic phenomena in the practical use of the language;
- use a wider vocabulary in the Russian language;
- use similar exercises for their own teaching practice (in the case of students of Russian language teaching).
Syllabus
  • After enrolling in the course, students choose a group of their choice based on language levels according to SERR: A1, A2, B1, B2.
  • Each interactive curriculum contains a set of other teaching materials for practicing and checking the acquisition of vocabulary, phonetic, morphological and syntactic phenomena in the Russian language, within the topics recommended for the specified levels of foreign language proficiency.

Teaching methods
Students work independently in various learning activities of the Interactive Curriculum. Online consultations take place every 2 weeks according to the schedule in groups in Teams, to which students will be automatically added after enrolling in the group according to the chosen language proficiency level.
Assessment methods
Online test at the end of the semester (installation of a Russian keyboard is recommended).
Test tasks are developed on the basis of the discussed phenomena in the Interactive syllabus according to the appropriate level.

The course is taught each semester.
Teacher's information
The course can only be re-enrolled if enrolled in a group of a different language level. The Russian Online course provides an opportunity to practice selected RJ linguistic phenomena that are taught in other RJ courses.

For beginning students, knowledge of Cyrillic is required and can be acquired by taking RJ1060 Introductory Russian (this course is taught in a block during the 1 week in September before the semester begins.).
