- The subject is designed as a mandatory in the PhD study program of Social Education.
- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The subject aims at a continuous study and research related to the topic of the dissertation thesis, which in its turn will be reflected in the process of the thesis preparation. The course also has a control function which enables the supervisor and the garantor of the study programme to assess whether a student has progressed in their thesis preparation.
- Learning outcomes
- The students will be able to: • work on the theses for their dissertations; • apply their knowledge from the field of Social Education on writing the theoretical part of their disserttion thesis; • apply methodical approaches when planning their research project and conducting the research for their dissertation; • reflect the reality of Social Education in their dissertation; • define their recommendations for Social Education (both theory and practice).
- Syllabus
- The subject is closely related to methodology courses and other optional courses which are connected to the topic of the dissertation thesis. The exact content of the course is decided on by the supervisor. Publications are connected to the methodology and topic of the dissertation thesis.

- The scientific resources are recommended by the tutor. However, independent student work in the selection and study of scientific resources is assumed.
