- Course objectives
- The student will acquire basic knowledge about special pedagogical diagnostics of somatopedics (education of pupils with physical disabilities) and their specifics. Within the subject emphasis will be placed on interdisciplinary cooperation and the possibilities of advisory services provided in the Czech Republic.
- Learning outcomes
- • The srudent is orientated in somatopedic terminology.
• The sudent can choose and describe diagnostic methods and tools used in somatopedic diagnostics.
• The student is able to characterize diagnostic domains of pupils with physical disabilities.
• The student is able to explain the specifics of smatopedic diagnostics due to age. - Syllabus
- • the conception of special education somatopedic diagnostics, the target group (selected types of physical disability and disease).
- • Diagnostics in partical periods of development (early age, preschool age, school age, maturity).
- • Diagnostic methods and tools (clinical, general, recording sheets).
- • Areas of diagnostic domains for students with physocal disabilities.
- • Specifics of school readiness, school attendance delay.
- • Specifics of pre-professional preparation of students with physical disabilities.
- • Consulting services, interdisciplinary cooperation.
- • Presentation of compensation aids, discussions.
- • Case studies - presentation, diagnostic procedures, discussions.
