- The aim of the course is to introduce students to the possibilities of technological support for students with special educational needs, taking into account their specific needs according to their type of disadvantage (visual impairment, hearing impairment, physical disability, specific learning disabilities,...).

- Expected outcomes:
The student is oriented in the issues of assistive, information and communication technologies;
can use special aids and technologies to help students with special educational needs overcome barriers;
can design appropriate aids or technologies;
has the skills needed to provide targeted special educational support for pupils with SEN in their learning;

- Seminar, practical examples, records, literature reading. Group discussion, cooperative learning, experiential activities, creation of a mental map, presentation of examples of good practice. On-line study materials.
- Assessment methods
- Contribute to the discussion by electronic contributions to the subject forum. Review of a professional text in a selected area of ICT or AT in the context of special education. Feedback will be by oral examination. Further requirements will be specified in the Organisational Guidelines in IS and at the first tutorial of the course.
