- Course objectives
- The main goal of the course is to guide students in the development and defense of theses of the final thesis, the compilation of literature research and the selection of suitable scientific methods. The aim of the subject is to verify the students' ability to work independently on the final thesis and to apply the knowledge gained during the course of study. The content of the subject is an individual consultation of the students with the supervisor of the final thesis on a topic chosen by the student after agreement with the committee. Students attend an introductory seminar where they are introduced to the requirements for writing a final thesis at the Department of Geography. It is assumed that at the end of the course, the student has prepared a project for the final thesis, which he presents and defends.
- Learning outcomes
- Students: demonstrates orientation in the chosen issue, obtains and processes partial data, presents and defends the partial results of the final thesis, formulates the objectives of the final thesis, carry out a literature search, presents partial results of own research.

- 1. Introductory seminar – requirements for writing the final thesis; 2. Final thesis requirements and typological rules; 3. Presentation of final thesis projects.

- Individual consultation during the preparation of the final thesis, independent work, presentation.
- Assessment methods
- Credit is awarded for submitting the project to the final work, its successful presentation and defense in front of the teacher. Credit is awarded by the supervisor of the final thesis.
