- Course objectives
- This class will look at the nature of prejudice and tolerance in modern society. While not focusing on any one society, specific examples of actual incidents and behavior from various lands will be used as case studies in order to understand the psychological and social mechanisms of prejudice. The class is organized as a "round table discussion" seminar wherein students will come to class prepared to discuss the text and topic at hand with their classmates.
