- Course objectives
- Revision of botany. Plant cell - structure, function. Plant tissue. Anatomy and morphology of root, stalk, leaf and flower. Inflorescence. Anatomy of seed. Morphology of fruit. Revision of system and evolution of cyanobacterium, algae and fungi. Characteristics of prokarya, eukarya. Endosymbiotic origin of the semiautonomous organells. Systems and evolution of cyanobacteria, algae, fungi and "fungi-like organisms". Basic characteristics of divisions, classes, select species. Function in the ecosystems, importance for people.
