Course objectives
The goal of the subject is acquiring basic knowledge on the problems of contemporary vocabulary, of its sources, development, enrichment and changes ij the view of general linguistics and socio-linguistics.

  • 1. Paronyms. Homonyms. 2.Synonyms and periphrases. 3. Antonyms and antiphrases. 4. Languge peculiarities of contemporary francophony. 5. Language levels. Contemporary language aspects. Argot. 6. Etymology of word connections.
