Course objectives
The summer term covers unit 2 in the textbook Mittelstufe Deutsch. Further material will be handed out during the semester. Additional exercises and texts are available on moodlinka. The main topic of this term will be the German media, students are therefore expected to read autonomously the relevant newspapers and journals (accessible via internet) and to prepare short presentations on important topics discussed in the media.

Assessment methods (in Czech)
Der Unterricht erfolgt in Form von wöchentlichen Seminarsitzungen, die v. a. der praktischen Anwendung des Stoffes dienen. Das Stoffpensum selbst (Wortschatz und Grammatik) muss selbständig angeeignet und wiederholt werden. Am Ende des Semesters steht eine Klausur, die den Stoff des Frühjahrsemester abprüft. Studierende, die die Klausur bestanden haben (60% des geprüften Stoffumfangs), können sich anschließend für das mündliche Prüfungsgespräch anmelden. Ziel des Prüfungsgesprächs ist es, die kommunikative Kompetenz im Deutschen unter Beweis zu stellen. Thematisch orientiert sich das Gespräch an den im 1. Studienjahr behandelten Themenbereichen (soziale Entwicklung, Lebensplanung, Lektüreerfahrung, Geschlechterstereotypen, Presse und Medien, aktuelles Weltgeschehen). Wer Klausur und Prüfungsgespräch erfolgreich absolviert hat sowie ein Kurzreferat gehalten hat, erhält das Prädikat "zkouska" zuerkannt.
