- Course objectives
- This course should provide a context and theoretical background for using authentic literature in ELT. It also aims to examine and try out classroom techniques used with literature in ELT. The course is classroom-oriented, it is based on published materials and it will require the participants to be active in contributing to discussions and having hands-on experience in the sessions. The participants will be expected to reflect on the experience and share their reflections with their peers.

Choosing the right book What do we look for and why Criteria of choice 3. Methodological overview of using literature in ELT Looking for appropriate tasks Using ELT techniques 4. Using short stories 5. Using novels 6. Using drama techniques with drama texts 7. Using storytelling techniques 8. Creative writing based on literatur 9. Post-reading activities 10.
