Course objectives (in Czech)
The purpose of this course is to aid the student in refining/developing their use of English for use in the classroom setting as well as to develop skills in English for educational/professional purposes.
Syllabus (in Czech)
  • The course will meet irregularly and students will be notified on the course web site as to the course meeting dates. Most of the work for the course will be done via the internet (emails/IS). The course meetings will involve listening exercises and feedback sessions. There will also be time set aside for preparation for the oral exam. The dates for the oral exam will be announced in March.
Assessment methods (in Czech)
Requirements for credit: Written paper: 20% Oral Exam: 30% Coursework/ Participation 20% Final Exam: 30% Students must attend all meetings and have a minimum 65% overall score in order to recieve credit.
