- Course objectives
- The seminar picks up on the basic knowledge in the language culture and in literary Czech language in the social communication. It focuses on the rhetorical style, on its characteristic features, analyses the rhetorical language means. The seminar prepares students for rhetorical practice.
- Syllabus
- 1. The rhetoric in the history and at present, the rhetoric interdisciplinarity. 2. Basic assumptions of the language culture. 3. Verbal and non verbal communication, the personality of speaker. 4. The definition of rhetorical style and its characteristic language means (especially acoustic). The theory of argumentation. 5. The compositional means, rhetorical means. 6. The preparation for the rhetorical practice – the composition of rhetorical speech and its reciting. 7. Short rhetorical recitals of students and their evaluations.

- Seminář.(Vzhledem k praktickému rétorickému vystoupení studentů je účast v semináři žádoucí.) Způsob ukončení: zápočet. Požadavky k zápočtu: Základní orientace v jazykové kultuře a rétorice. Písemná příprava řrčnického projevu a individuální řečnická vystoupení.
