Předmět lze zapsat až po splnění požadavků fyzikálních předmětů vyučovaných v 1.ročníku. Výběr tématu je nutno předem konzultovat s některým vyučujícím katedry, dále je třeba sestavit stručný plán a najít si konzultanta, který bude za dohodnuté období sledovat pokroky v práci.
