Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to apply the theory in the texts of the given period; to demonstrate the main elements of differentiate individual literary styles in the texts. At the end of this course, students should be able to apply the acquired knowledge in composing written reports for seminars and in BA theses.
Syllabus
  • 1.Thematic and literary theoretical views of analysis 2.Comparison with another thematically related text of the same literary period. 3.Historical context analysis. 4.Comparison with another thematically related text of another literary period. 5.Individual work with a selected text. 6.Preparation for the literary text analysis in seminar works.

Typ of classwork: seminary; Workshop Ending: credit; Requirements for ending: meet the workshop requirements and the active participation, homoworks. Write test of reading (as a successful test is considered one with at least 70% right answers).
