Course objectives
The complex analysis of selected music pieces focused on the semantic analysis. The semantic notion of interpretation of music work. Meaning in music. The program music. Signification of art. Axiological point of view. The Kitsch, mass culture, artistic and non-artistic music.
Syllabus
  • The main aim of the seminar is to amplify knowledges on the base of practical analysis. The complex analysis of selected music pieces is focused on the semantic analysis. Main content of seminar: The semantic notion of interpretation of music work. The meaning in music. The program music. The signification of art. An axiological point of view. The Kitsch, mass culture, artistic and non-artistic music. THe metodics of complex and semantic analysis.
