Course objectives
The students shall acquire fundamental knowledge and abilities (competence) of contemporary Czech morphology – notions: morphem, morph, structure of word forms. Classification criteria of word cathegory, grammatical cathegory of nouns and verbs, flexible word cathegory – forms, variants. Tendency in contemporary Czech morphology.

  • 1. Morphology – fundamentals notions. 2. Functional and formative morphology. 3. Grammatical cathegories of nouns. 4. Grammatical cathegories of verbs. 5. Formative phenomena. 6. Non-flexible Czech words. 7. Application of knowledge of contemporary formative codification in the curriculum in primary school. 8. Development tendency of contemporary Czech morphology.
