Course objectives
The objective of the course is to focus students learning on a variety of perspectives on historical isssues in British history and to critically explore differing points of view on these issues. Geopolitcs of Great Britain and the United Kingdom will be also discussed. Among the essential aims of the course is to support students development of understanding of British culture.

Assessment methods
1. DO ALL THE QUIZES. N.B.: There are 13 quizes in the course. The quizes are designed for students to test their understanding of the topics from British history. Students will be checked if they regularly fill in each test for each topic from the history. Scores students gain from doing the quizes will not count towards the overall evaluation of their work. 2.CONTRIBUTE TO AT LEAST 2 DISCUSSION FORUMS One written contribution must contain min. 2 sentences and must be related to the topic posted in the discussion forum 3. DO ALL THE ASSIGNMENTS. N.B.: There are 13 assignments in the course. A deadline is set for each of the assignments.
