- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to understand and explain (1) basic taxonomical and phylogenetical information about selected groups of invertebrate animals; (2) create connection with the knowledge about their reproduction and development; and (3) their distribution and ecology; (4) make identification and (5) even species determination of the most important representatives.

- 1. Protozoa I: Mastigophora, Euglenozoa 2. Protozoa II: Rhizopoda, Actinopoda 3. Protozoa III: Apicomlexa, Ciliophora 4. Animalia (Metazoa) – Diblastica I: Porifera 5. Animalia – Diblastica II: Cnidaria, Ctenophora 6. Animalia – Triblastica – Protostomia: Platyhelminthes: Turbellaria, Trematoda, Cestoda 7. Animalia – Triblastica – Pseudocoelomata: Rotifera, Acanthocephala, Gastrotricha, Nematoda, Nematomorpha 8. Animalia – Triblastica – Coelomata I: Mollusca - Gastropoda, Bivalvia, Cephalopoda 9. - Successful passing of examination, carried out by means of written test (ABCD), is based on extended study (from selected literature sources) as well as, partially, on personal practical experience with morphology, anatomy etc. of selected species gained during practical course (ZBEL).
