Course objectives
Main objectives can be summarised as follows:
to learn foundations of work with computers and computer network Internet;
to use of multimedia as the part of educational technologies in educational process;
to introduce into chemical multimedia educational programs and systems.

  • 2. Computer network Internet and its rise.
  • 3. Operation system WINDOWS and Internet.
  • 4. Services of the computer network Internet.
  • 4.1. E-mail.
  • 4.2. Electronic discussion groups.
  • 4.3. E-conference.
  • 4.4. World Wide Web.
  • 4.5. Tranfer of files.
  • 4.6. Telnet.
  • 4.7. Talk and Internet Relay Chat.
  • 5. WWW pages and HTML language.
  • 6. Computer graphics (tables, graphs, figures, chemical formulas).
  • 7. Multimedia, their history and development.
  • 8. Illustration of chemical multimedia programs and systems.
